Am letzten Wochenende im Oktober fand im Bürgerhaus Kinderbeuern wieder unser beliebtes gemeinsame Kürbisschnitzen statt - mit viel Spaß und leckeren Snacks aus der größten Beere der Welt.
Viele tolle Kürbisfratzen und auch ein paar "Mumiengläser" sind entstanden, die uns rund um Halloween ein gruselig-leuchtendes Grinsen schenken.
Jutta Nisius zauberte für die großen und kleinen Kürbisschnitzer süße und herzhafte Kürbiswaffeln.
Die Aktion war zugleich auch Teil des europaweiten Aktionstages der Initiative "Good Food Good Farming", die sich für nachhaltige Landwirtschaft und gutes Essen für alle einsetzt.
Die Teilnehmenden konnten ihre persönlichen Vorstellungen dazu, wie eine nachhaltige Lebensmittelproduktion aussehen soll, auf einer Aktionspostkarte an an das EU-Parlament notieren, die dann am 8.11. von Vertreterinnen der Aktion übergeben wurden.
Wer von euch nun Lust hat, nächstes Jahr selber Kürbisse anzubauen, kann sich gerne bei uns melden. In unserer Gruppe "Solidarische Saat", die sich zur gemeinschaftlichen Saatguterzeugung und Saatgutselbstversorgung zusammengeschlossen hat, gibt es Saatgut von Moschuskürbis und Hokkaido - die Gruppe trifft sich wieder Mitte Januar.
Die geplante Apfelkelteraktion am Vormittag musste leider ausfallen - im nächsten Jahr findet dafür ein großes Kelterfest statt!
